Dave is a healthy scratch for this episode, so we reached into our farm system and plucked Sean Zanberg from Waiting For Stanley to join us on this episode. He’s made an appearance before, but his blog is a great Canucks (…and Maple Leafs) fan blog with plenty of opinions and great photoshop jobs that only he can whip up.

Record as of this episode: 35-24-10
    Northwest Division: 3rd
    Western Conference: 7th

We go a bit free range on this one, taking on the bandwagon hoopla, Chris Pronger, Jim Hughson leaving Sportsnet for CBC, and a look at what’s to come for the remainder of this season. We’re all pulling for a big finish to this season, staying on the bus, waiting for the rest of you to hop on board.

Buenas Dias from Bucerias Mexico! I’ve found a bar playing Canucks games - sure is almost perfect drinking cold buckets of Indio beer and eating Chile Rellano on a patio with palm trees waving and Trevor Linden’s autograph on the wall above - the perfection is tainted though with 3 hideous games! Almost paradise indeed.

The last game vs the Wild i was sitting next to the only Wild fan in Mexico methinks and managed to keep the gloves on just barely (cause i am nice guy and dislike foreign jails) when he kept running his mouth about the Minnesota squad - at 4-0 against, wasn’t a lot i could say either ;-).

Finally, i resent being called a healthy scratch for this last episode - i was in austin texas for the SXSW music and interactive fests and there was very little “healthy” about my lifestyle for that stretch - beer, bar-b-q and herbs non-stop. Here, i’ve permanently attached a beer holder in my right hand for convenience.

I return to BC in time for the HNIC finale vs Calgary and to celebrate our playoff position. Have some stories to tell from the BC hockey embassy in Mexico!
