TCC#50 – Like a puck in the face
Good day, and welcome to episode fifty. This is a long overdue one, and there were some technical difficulties that occurred before this episode saw the light of day. Regardless, we push forward, sadly without our good pal Dave, but he shall return. Alanah actually joins us about twenty minutes in, and hilarity ensues.

The basic lowdown to this recording is that we are just as baffled as you are about our beloved team. There is no easy answers other than trying to pick ourselves up and work hard at being a better team on the ice. The recent 3-0 loss to Nashville is fresh on our mind, and it hasn’t been that much better before that.
Basically, this is a mix of topics combined with alcohol. Over Skype. Tread lightly.

Thanks for the shout-out and compliments on the photo’s. Yeah…they were photoshopped a bit to help with the lighting. My two favorite pics were of Luongo’s eyes as the puck flew by him…and the save he made on Zetterberg that brought everyone out of their seats.
The Bronx cheers during the Nashville game didn’t bother me that much. I dunno…I would hope to think the team could use it as a little motivation. If I am playing and I hear the crowd getting on your teams best player…well, it would motivate me. Brendan Morrison’s comments were a perfect reaction to it and I was glad he said it. Now…lets take that disgust and anger on to the ice and kick some ass.
Oh…Alanah…wrong Portland. The Pirates are the AHL team in MAINE! I was in the other side of the planet…Oregon.
OHHH…and that Hossa rumor. Sweet. Former Winterhawk (as is Isbister…and probably the best player since Cam Neely to wear the ‘Hawk sweater). We could only hope.

I mentioned the team in the wrong STATE? Good grief… I always knew my memory for details was frightening, but it never occurred to me I might actually need to keep an atlas handy… (Oops!)
