TCC#47 - Philly cheese stink
We recorded this a few days prior to its actual release, but scheduling prevented the editing to get done before it could get out to you. Regardless, we hope you enjoy this episode as we go over the gross, 8-2 loss to the Flyers and dissect the hi-jinks that happened in the game. We also go over players that are sticking out to us (good and bad) and look at some other topics that we find notable.

This was the first episode of the season that we’ve been able to gather together in the round table format, so we hope you enjoy this one as much as we did getting it recorded.

Alanah? What are you thinking? We should’nt have an opinion about the pre-meditated nature of the hit on Kesler? Hmmm… That hit was so bad, I had to share it with all my non-hockey fan friends in the office…and I could hear the cringes when they would watch it. As one buddy put it…’Dude…that is just wrong.’ Well put.
Luckily, the Oilers game has given me new ammunition to show them with the power play by the Sedins. Woot.
Not saying people shouldn’t have an opinion. My only intent was to withhold judgment about the guy as a person, not a hockey player. The hit was very bad.
I probably didn’t express that very well though… I was WAY overtired when we recorded that night.

To add to the conversation, here’s something we might mention in the next recording.

Boulerice called Kesler to apologize, plus just called to see how he was doing. Interesting, especially since he got the 25 game plus being put on waivers by Philly. Career ending? To be seen…
One could say the Bertuzzi hit was career ending as well. Bert has never been the same player mentally or physically.
