TCC#49 - It’s still early in the season
We were without Alanah for this episode, and John was under the weather during the recording. Rebecca was in the driver’s seat and held down the podcast with JJ and Dave to discuss the season thus far. It’s still early, but every game gives us a feel for the team.
- Record as of this episode: 3-3-0
There is still plenty to talk about, including the fallout from the Kesler/Boulerice hit, trade murmurs, and a variety of other topics that the crew finds interesting.

Dear subscribers,
If you are wondering why the podcast feed isn’t working and you are not getting updated podcasts into your iTunes or whatever program you use to download TCC, there is a problem with the feed. Upgrading some things around the site seems to affected this.
We’re working hard on a solution, so please hang tight. You can still listen online or by downloading directly from our website. We hope to get this problem fixed soon and apologize for the temporary interruption.
Check back soon for updates.
2 commentsTCC#48 - Going mobile to meet Canucks alumni and hockey legends
John and Rebecca go mobile for this edition of TCC to give you a follow up report after going to customer appreciation day at Standard Building Supplies in North Vancouver. That might not sound overly exciting, but they also had NHL legends and Canucks alumni at the event, signing autographs and taking pictures with fans.
These two stood in line for two hours just to get to the table, and they give you their account of what it was like to meet and shake the hands of some incredible hockey players and legends in their own right.

TCC#47 - Philly cheese stink
We recorded this a few days prior to its actual release, but scheduling prevented the editing to get done before it could get out to you. Regardless, we hope you enjoy this episode as we go over the gross, 8-2 loss to the Flyers and dissect the hi-jinks that happened in the game. We also go over players that are sticking out to us (good and bad) and look at some other topics that we find notable.
- Record as of this episode: 1-2-0
This was the first episode of the season that we’ve been able to gather together in the round table format, so we hope you enjoy this one as much as we did getting it recorded.
4 commentsTCC#46 - The 07-08 regular season is underway
One of these days, all of us will be back together for a full episode, but Alanah is pushing forward with some great segments that she has recorded to cover the first two games of the regular season for the Canucks. She even reaches out to Mike “The Yankee Canuck” to get some of his thoughts during an intermission of the first game, and JJ chimes in with his thoughts on the first loss to San Jose and then an outstanding OT win over Calgary.
2 commentsTCC#45 - Interview with Wild reporter John Shipley of the St. Paul Pioneer Press
Our tour of the Northwest Division comes to an end with this episode. Alanah tracked down John Shipley of the St. Paul Pioneer Press for this one. He is the guy in the “Land of 10,000 Lakes” who reports on the Minnesota Wild for the newspaper, and we get his insights on the upcoming season for the team as well as the view of the league as a sports reported in the U.S. It’s a short interview, but Alanah gets into the details and raises some hell with our fellow divisional friends.

The tour of the Northwest Division continues with Alanah taking on her nemesis, the Colorado Avalanche. In this episode, she grabbed a couple of her favorite Avs fan bloggers, Greg from “Hockey Rants” and Tapeleg of “Jerseys and Hockey Love”. Together, they take a look at the team as whole, looking back into the past and what they expect from the coming season. Oh, and you can’t forget some good ol’ trash talkin’.

TCC#43 - Interview with Andy and Matt from The Battle of Alberta
Alanah takes the helm on this episode and scores an interview with the authors of The Battle of Alberta, Matt and Andy. They are, respectively, fans of the Calgary Flames and Edmonton Oilers who have been writing about their favorite team since 2005. You wouldn’t think that a Flames and Oilers fan could get along on one blog, but this interview shows that these guys love to talk hockey. Plus, you ever wonder what die hard fans of the Albertan teams think about the Canucks? Alanah digs deep to find out.
