		<description>Lordy... Vancouver is a brutal place to play goal, I fully agree with GZ Expat. And the thing about all this is that I HATE being perceived as the anti-Canuck-goalie-fan.  But the fact of the matter is this: Yo!Luongo costs Vancouver $6 million (plus) and so this team can&#039;t afford offense. (And so there IS no offense.)

Anyone remember when Vancouver (and the Western Conference generally) were considered &quot;offensive&quot; teams?  Geez, I miss tracking those kinda scoring stats...</description>

		<description>Your goalie banter only verifies that Vancouver is the toughest place in the NHL for a goalie to play in.  Despite Luongo&#039;s decent effort and his thin defense, I think he&#039;s doing a pretty good job.  But, I really agree with Alanah, he is very suspect top shelf.  It&#039;s a good thing NHL players today don&#039;t know how to lift the puck, like they could in the 80&#039;s (is it the sticks?)..because Luongo would be lit up night after night.</description>
